ABA Therapy
Skills for everyday life.

Helping children build skills for everyday life.

Individualized, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services designed to help children and adolescents strengthen communication, social interaction, learning, independence, and everyday living skills.

At ASun Star, we look beyond behaviors. We work with each child and family to understand their strengths, needs, environment, and goals, then develop practical strategies that can carry over into home, school, and community life.

What It Looks Like

ABA built around your child, not a one-size-fits-all program.

01

Assessment & Individualized Treatment Planning

We start by getting to know your child. Through assessment, observation, caregiver input, and clinical evaluation, our team identifies strengths, needs, behaviors, and meaningful goals. This information guides an individualized treatment plan that grows and changes with your child.

02

Individual & Center-Based ABA Therapy

Children receive individualized support from trained behavioral professionals with clinical supervision. Sessions may focus on communication, learning, behavior, social development, self-care, independence, and other skills important to everyday life.

Services may be provided at an ASun Star center or, based on the program and eligibility, within the child's home, school, or community.

03

Family & Caregiver Support

Families are an important part of progress. We teach parents and caregivers practical strategies they can use during everyday routines, transitions, challenging moments, and positive interactions.

Our goal is for skills learned during ABA to continue long after the therapy session ends.

04

Communication & Social Development

Children learn and practice skills for connecting with the people around them. Depending on individual goals, this may include communicating needs, initiating interactions, playing with peers, sharing, taking turns, problem-solving, understanding social cues, and building relationships.

05

Independence & Everyday Life Skills

ABA should make a difference in real life.

We help children develop age-appropriate skills that support greater independence at home, at school, and in the community, from completing routines and following directions to self-care, learning readiness, community participation, and navigating new environments.

Our Approach

Progress that goes beyond the therapy room.

ASun Star takes a whole-child, whole-family approach to ABA. Treatment is individualized, strength-based, evidence-based, and focused on meaningful outcomes, not simply changing behavior.

We collaborate with families and, when appropriate, schools and other members of the child's care team to help create consistency across environments.

Our goal is simple: help every child build the skills, confidence, communication, and independence they need to thrive.
